Even before the Labor Day holiday comes around, we often become aware of Autumn’s message. We celebrate the abundance of the Earth at this time of year and express gratitude for the harvest. The Autumnal Equinox marks the seasonal transitional between the light of summer and the darkness of winter. It also calls us to find that balance within ourselves—between the light and the dark, the inward and the outward, contemplation and action.
We will hold a Fall Equinox gathering for the Light on the Hill community on
Sunday afternoon, October 8th, 4 – 6 pm
~ enjoy contemplative musical selections,
~ acknowledge the abundance of the land,
~ honor the stewardship of those who came before us, and
~ walk the labyrinth together with drumming (weather permitting).
Come and join us as we express gratitude for all the gifts of the harvest (in both its literal and spiritual manifestations).
All are welcome!
Let us know if you’ll be able to join us by sending your RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org
