Volunteer Work Day 2024

Come and join us as we tend to our beautiful grounds at Light on the Hill!

We have had some amazing volunteer days at Light on the Hill over the years! Members of our community values the beauty of this place, and they love to contribute towards maintaining the lovely facilities and grounds. We have so much fun, and it’s a great way to get to know other folks in the LOH community. Join us for as long as you are able! Bring a friend!

We have two main projects planned for our volunteer day this fall: planting oodles of daffodil bulbs around the perimeter of the upper labyrinth and splitting wood for those who enjoy gathering by the fire at the fire pit. We also hope to move the existing fire pit at the Pond Hut closer to the pond (and away from the steps of the hut).

The plan is to meet at Inner Light Lodge at 9:00 am for a centering meditation. Then, we’ll divide into groups, one heading up the hill to the upper labyrinth and another working closer to the lodge on splitting wood and stocking the wood pile.

We can always use help with our landscaping around the lodge, so this might also be an option. Other projects may arise as we get closer to the day.
