Authentic Presence Immersion and Retreat
October 20-28, 2018
This is an 8-day residential retreat followed by a 10-week integration period supported by the faculty.
The Immersion Program is a unique opportunity to dive deeper into the art of being present for seriously ill and dying patients. A great forum to receive support from experienced faculty and practice together with like-minded professionals serving in this field.
The 8-day intensive explores the deeper dimensions of living and dying using a variety of learning modalities, including individual, group and interactive work, as well as lectures. You will gain direct experiential knowledge of mindfulness and other contemplative resources to enhance self-care, therapeutic relationships and communication.
The 10-week integration period following the residential session will be tailored to your needs and time and provide you with an additional grounding in what you have learned. During the integration period, you will be supported through bi-monthly group webinars and one-on-one mentoring. You will also have the chance to design an integration project.
